Whoopi Goldberg is revealing that she almost died during a recent bout with Pneumonia.
“Yes, I came very close to leaving the earth,” she said. “Good news, I didn’t. Thank you for all of your good wishes, all of the wonderful things that people have been saying. Even people who aren’t huge fans of mine have actually been saying nice thing about me.”
The 63 year old Oscar winning host of The View confirmed her illness during a video that aired on the show this morning.
Goldberg has not been on the show since February 6th.
