History has been made!! In the upcoming James Bond movie Lashana Lynch will be the new agent 007.
According to the Daily Mail, while Daniel Craig will play the role of James Bond fan will learn that Bond has retired from the agency at the beginning of the movie. But, when he is called back for duty to help deal with a new crisis he discovers that a new person now has his number.
“There is a pivotal scene at the start of the film where M says ‘Come in 007’, and in walks Lashana who is black, beautiful and a woman,” a “movie insider” tells the outlet. “It’s a popcorn-dropping moment. Bond is still Bond, but he’s been replaced as 007 by this stunning woman.”
If the report in the the Daily Mail is accurate, Lynch will be the first black and first female to star as agant 007.
