Chrisette Michele spoke out on the #BlackLivesMatter movement in an online statement which encouraged Black people to support Black businesses and vote.
However Black Twitter wasn’t hearing what Michele had to say and with some posting their response to her.

@ChrisetteM your suggested solution does way more harm than good. You find protests & boycotts archaic but you think voting & playing bigger role in capitalism haven’t been tried?
