It looks like the trip may be on hold! The wildly anticipated sequel to Girls Trip may not happen and it’s not because of the cast!
“We are all in for ‘Girls Trip 2.’ We’re just waiting for a script to be honest” Queen Latifah said to PEOPLE. “Tiffany called me like two weeks ago like, ‘I know me, and you and Jada [Pinkett Smith] and Regina get in the room, we can write this script.’ ” Hall has reportedly said: “I’m looking forward to moving the story forward.”
According to PAGE SIX, a source at Universal Studios said that there was no script submitted for a Girls Trip sequel and no film is currently in development.
