John Singleton has died.
The famed director died today 12 days after suffering a stroke, he was surrounded by his family and friends.
Singleton was best known for directing such films as “Poetic Justice,” “Higher Learning,” “Four Brothers”, “2 Fast 2 Furious” and his first film “Boyz in the Hood” for which he was nominated for an Oscar for Best Director.
John Singleton was 51.
