It’s not an episode of Maury but real life for Sherri Shepherd, who was named by a judge the legal mother of a child born through a surrogate mother. Shepherd and her ex husband Lamar Sally have been in court since last August fighting over the issue.
The former ‘View’ host says that she was tricked by her husband into having the child before he filed for divorce, she has stated this in several interviews and now that the ruling is out, Sally who is raising the child alone says that he wants and apology.
“I want her to go on television and apologize the same way that she went on there and accused me of being a gold digger and tricking her into having a baby” Sally said to TMZ.
The two aren’t finished with court dates yet, they now have to go back to hash out child support payments.
