United Airlines Defends No Leggings Policy


United Airlines wouldn’t let three girls board a flight to Minneapolis from Denver because they were wearing leggings. They were forced to wear dresses over the leggings or change outfits. They’re catching a lot of heat for it but United says the girls were “pass travelers.” Those are passengers traveling as relatives or dependents of a United employee, and therefore subject to a stricter dress code.
