STD’s cases have reached an all time high in California. The California Department of Public Health announced that the state has reached and all-time high in sexually transmitted diseases. There were more than 300,000 cases of chlamydia, gonorrhea and early syphilis reported last year. The rise in numbers could have been because more people chose to get diagnosed and treated. Officials also say the rise of STD’s can be blamed on social media apps making it easier for people to find sexual partners. Read more here.
