A Black Man was Told to Leave His Apartment Pool by Security

by

A Black man was told to leave his apartment pool by security. Shayne Holland of Indianapolis said he was relaxing by the pool after his Friday workout when the off-duty police officer doing security guard work asked him if he lived at the complex. The guard asked for his address without identifying herself. Holland showed her his key that allowed him in the pool area and refused to give her the information. A property manager came out to try and diffuse the situation. The guard then asked Holland to leave the pool area. The property manager said he had to leave because he refused to answer the guard’s questions. Holland posted the video of the incident on Facebook. The management company said property manager was placed on administrative leave while they investigate. #LivingWhile Black Watch here.
