Veteran Atlanta media personality Darian “Big Tigger” Morgan has stepped away from his morning show on hip-hop station V103 in Atlanta amidst pending domestic violence charges and legal matters.
The charges stem from a May altercation where his wife, Alicia Brown, alleges he shoved her into a door, causing a cut above her eye that required stitches. Morgan was arrested in Sandy Springs, GA on charges of aggravated battery, battery, and third-degree cruelty to children, and was subsequently released on a $10,000 bond.
Following the incident, Brown was granted a temporary protective order that requires Morgan to stay 200 yards away from her and their children.Morgan has publicly and unequivocally denied all allegations, including separate accusations regarding an alleged affair with his co-host, Franchesca Amiker. Amiker has filed a defamation lawsuit against Brown, claiming the affair rumors are entirely false.
Addressing the public fallout, Morgan released a social media statement emphasizing that his primary goal is his family.
