Verity RecordsLast month, several dates were added to the 2016 Festival of Praise Tour, and now two more also have been attached to itinerary — the Paramount Theatre in Seattle, Washington on October 1 and the Celebrity Theatre in Phoenix, Arizona on October 4.
Multiple Grammy winner Hezekiah Walker and gospel music icon and tour founder Fred Hammond are slated to perform during the Praise tour, along with Israel Houghton, Regina Belle, Karen Clark Sheard, Casey J and Donnie McClurkin in select cities. Walker currently holds multiple number one spots on the Billboard Gospel/Christian charts for his single, “Better,” including Gospel Airplay, Gospel Digital Songs and Hot Gospel Songs, and his album, Azusa — The Next Generation 2, is number one on the Top Gospel Album chart.
