After a non-stop year, MAJOR. just wants a good night’s rest for the holidays

by

ABC RadioThe holiday season is here, but all MAJOR. wants to do is “rest for a minute.”

The NAACP-nominated artist, who’s made countless appearances this year — including the BET Soul Train Music Awards and Kirk Franklin and Ledisi‘s Rebel, Soul & Saint tour — tells ABC Radio, “I am grateful. Don’t ever get this part wrong. I am grateful.”

“But I’m glad that I’m going to have at least a week and a half to kind of just rest for a minute, because it has been non-stop.”

“I worked for this. I worked hard for this and I dreamt this. I wanted this,” he adds.

“But it’s a lot of work. It’s work understanding that everything takes time. It’s work being patient, but being so close. It’s a lot, but I’m excited to have a little pause for a second.”

With that said, MAJOR. is still thinking ahead, especially with a new year approaching.

The “Spend Christmas with You” singer says that he’s already talking with his agent about some potential acting gigs.

“We’re talking with my agent now and getting some stuff going. We’re getting more into [acting] and doing some voiceover [work]. We’ve got some pretty cool things planned for 2018,” he says.

MAJOR.’s new music video for his track, “Spend Christmas with You” is out now.
