Trae Patton/NBCThe latest release from the Hidden Figures soundtrack is Alicia Keys and Pharrell‘s cautionary track about love called “Apple.”
“It’s funny when the arrow’s aiming at you/Inscribed with your name/You pray that it just does pass you/Cupid’s only gonna shoot if he knows it’s his game,” sings Pharrell.
The “Happy” vocalist and co-producer of the dramatic film also appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon Thursday night, performing another song from the soundtrack, “I See a Victory.”
The artist was joined by Kim Burrell and a backing choir on stage for the rousing performance.
Hidden Figures: The Album is out now in stores and usual digital platforms everywhere.
