Matthew Eisman/Getty Images for NARASTuesday marked the eighth wedding anniversary for Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz, and the couple expressed their love for each other on social media.
“Cheers to 8 years my love!!!! WOW! US!,” Alicia wrote on Instagram with a photo of them embracing.
“This LOVE!!! So amazing!! So infinite! So powerful! So electric!! It’s been the best 8 years of my LIFE!!,” she continued. “I can only imagine the greatness the future holds!! Thank you for showing me what life is, what love is, what dreams are infinite and endless awe and love!!!”
Swizz paid tribute to his wife with a throwback photo of the couple celebrating their first anniversary, with the caption, “This was our 1st Anniversary pic, 8 yrs ago today, wow I look crazy as hell but you look great as always #happyanniversary #8”
The rapper, DJ, and producer also posted two montages of photos with Alicia throughout their marriage and wrote, “8 yrs of growth, Love, parenting and endless learning #happyanniversary Them Deans. Time moves fast Wow.” Swizz’s birth name is Kasseem Dean.
The couple married July 31, 2010 at a private home on the Mediterranean sea. They have two sons: 7-year-old Egypt, and 3-year-old Genesis.
