RCA/Paola KudackiAlicia Keys has just made your mid-week easier to bear, with the release of a brand-new single.
“In Common,” Alicia’s first release in four years, finds the fifteen-time Grammy winner singing about lingering in a lover’s embrace. “Said I’d be gone by five/But it’s sunrise and I’m still in your bed/Good-night usually means good-bye/Me replaying memories in my head,” she coos on the song’s first verse.
“In Common” is available now now for download at all the usual digital platforms. Look for it on Alicia’s as-yet untitled sixth studio album, due out later this summer from RCA.
You can see Alicia perform “In Common” live for the first time on NBC’s Saturday Night Live this weekend.
