Before Alicia Keys makes her debut on Fox’s Empire, we can hear the singer joining cast member Jussie Smollett on a new song from the Empire soundtrack.
Keys teams with Jussie on “Powerful,” a piano-driven duet about uniting people from all walks of life. “I matter, you matter, we matter all,” they sing on the hook.
The Empire soundtrack, which is available in stores now, includes contributions from Pitbull, Timbaland, Ne-Yo and Alicia’s husband Swizz Beatz.
You can catch Alicia, who will portray a character named Skye Summer, on the hit Fox show on November 25 at 9 p.m ET.
