Alicia Keys lands her second #1 on Billboard’s Top R&B Albums Chart with ‘ALICIA’

RCA RecordsAlicia Keys has solidified her stance as one of the hottest R&B artists of the decade with her latest #1 album.

ALICIA has topped Billboard‘s Top R&B Albums chart, earning 62,000 equivalent album units in the week ending Sept. 24, according to Nielsen Music/MRC Data. This marks Keys’ second album to top that chart, following her 2016 album, Here, which held the #1 spot for one week.

ALICIA also landed at #3 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart, marking her eighth album to place in the top 10 on that list.

Her other albums that placed on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart include 2001’s Songs in a Minor, 2003’s The Diary of Alicia Keys, 2005’s Unplugged, 2007’s As I Am, 2010’s The Element of Freedom, 2012’s Girl On Fire, and the previously-noted Here.  Girl On Fire also reached the #2 spot on the Top R&B Albums chart.

Elsewhere, Alicia’s single “So Done,” featuring Khalid, returned to the #19 spot, after peaking at #9 on the Hot R&B Songs chart.
