Andra Day gave a powerful Grammy performance Monday, which has resulted in a sales spike of her debut album, Cheers to the Fall.

According to Hits Daily Double, Andra’s showcase of “Rise Up,” which she performed as a duet with pop singer Ellie Goulding, helped drive a 350% increase in sales of her Grammy-nominated album, which is currently in the top 10 at iTunes.

It’s a good thing people are still enjoying her album. Prior to hitting the Grammys stage, the singer told ABC Radio she hasn’t even thought of recording her follow-up yet.

“I haven’t started yet, you know, after this cycle I’ll probably take some time off to just live,” she says.  “I’m a big believer in experience and so I feel like for me, the type of artist I am, I need to live, I need to experience things in life and then come back in and be re-inspired.”

Andrea says she’ll still find ways to be creative before she begins her next album. “That doesn’t mean I won’t get in the studio or get with my band or people and randomly record stuff that comes to mind — I don’t want to stop that process,” she says.  “I don’t want to stop it from being natural — but I’m not in the sort of rat race of, ‘I gotta get this new album out, I have to do it.’ I want it to be as organic as possible.”

In the meantime, Andra is scheduled to begin a 16-city North American tour on February 29 in San Francisco, ending in Los Angeles March 30.
