ABCAndra Day, Alessia Cara and country group Little Big Town joined ’90s superstars Boyz II Men, En Vogue, Seal, Bonnie Raitt and Montell Jordan to explore the years 1990-1995 on Thursday night’s episode of ABC’s musical tribute show Greatest Hits.
Day teamed up with legendary blues singer and “bad chick” Bonnie Raitt for a duet of Bonnie’s 1994 hit, “Love Sneakin’ Up on You.” Next, the pair, who first met at this year’s Grammy Awards back in February, joined forces for a powerful version of Andra’s “Rise Up.”
“Here” singer Alessia Cara put her stamp on U2’s “One,” a 1991 hit the 19-year-old – who wasn’t even born when the song was released — considers timeless for its message of conflict in love.
The evening also included En Vogue performing “Free Your Mind,” Seal reprising his classic “Kiss from A Rose,” Montell Jordan delivering his R&B smash “This Is How We Do It” and Boyz II Men singing their 1991 hit, “Motownphilly.”
Thursday’s show also saw Little Big Town put their spin on the Oasis hit “Wonderwall,”with the band giving the 1995 song a southern twist.
Greatest Hits returns next Thursday at 9 p.m. ET on ABC.
