Kendrick Lamar; Image Group LA/ABCJanet Jackson and Kendrick Lamar have finally met. The duo were snapped chatting backstage at one of the rapper’s recent DAMN tour shows, according to ThatGrapeJuice.
Kendrick sampled Janet’s 1993 hit track “Anytime Anyplace” for his 2012 song “Poetic Justice,” which is also the title of the singer’s 1993 film that starred Tupac Shakur.
Kendrick wanted Janet to appear in his music video for “Poetic Justice,” but she unfortunately did not.
Janet isn’t the only celebrity whose made an appearance at one of Kendrick’s recent gigs.
Beyoncé and JAY-Z, their daughter Blue Ivy, and Kelly Rowland were also spotted rocking out in the audience at the “HUMBLE.” artist’s LA concert last Sunday.
