Ari Lennox claims she’s giving up performing live: I’m too thorough to be playing with my energy

Eva ZarAri Lennox claims that come next year, she’ll be taking a break from the concert stage.

Tuesday night, the “BMO” songstress shared with fans on Twitter that she’ll no longer do any live performances, in order to protect her “sweet and genuine energy.”

“After this year I’ll continue to drop music. But, I’m not performing anymore outside of IG live or YouTube,” Lennox wrote in a since-deleted thread of tweets. “God is good. I will pay back what was offered to me.”

She continued, “I’m too thorough to be playing with my energy. People don’t know what happens behind the scenes.”

The first lady of Dreamville then went on to imply that a set of “sick individuals” were preventing her from performing, due to their “traumatizing” nature.

“There are parents raising demonic entities who are out here traumatizing people,” Lennox added.

The Shea Butter Baby vocalist’s rant arrives at a rather interesting time, considering she just did a headlining set at H.E.R.‘s inaugural Lights On Festival and is set to join Lizzo on the road as a supporting act for the North American leg of her Cuz I Love You Too Tour.
