Azealia Banks says she’s auditioned for the new season of Euphoria

Isaiah Trickey/FilmMagicAzealia Banks appears to be ready to make the small screen a major priority. In a new Instagram Story, Banks shared with fans that she was interested in landing a role on HBO’s Euphoria.

In her Story, captured by The Jasmine Brand, Banks holds up what appears to be a package, and captions the photo, “Just sent an audition tape in for @euphoria @hbo.”

Euphoria, which stars Zendaya Coleman, was recently renewed for a second season at HBO. It follows Coleman as Rue, a 17-year-old a drug addict fresh from rehab who has no plans to stay clean. 

According to Hypebae, HBO is looking to cast new characters on the the show, including a character named Ami, which is described as “18-20’s. Drug Addict. Stripper. Hates her boyfriend. Talks s***. Can’t read a room. Has a big mouth. Can make a bad situation worse.”

There’s no word on when the new season of Euphoria will air.
