‘Basketball Wives’ star Tami Roman teams with producer Mona Scott-Young to create new TV programming

Robin L Marshall/Getty ImagesBasketball Wives star Tami Roman has signed a new deal with Love & Hip Hop creator Mona Scott-Young to develop and produce new TV programming.

“Tami is a true multi-hyphenate; not only is she a talent on camera, she’s also an incredibly intuitive and creative producer,” Scott-Young tells Deadline. “I love working with smart, dynamic women and Tami Roman is a rock star!”

Their first project, Tami Ever After, “highlights Roman’s relationship with longtime boyfriend, Reggie Youngblood and blends his hilarious and entertaining family from Houston, Texas with Roman’s popular and charismatic daughters.” The show will premiere Wednesday, June 19 at 9 p.m. on VH1.

They also are developing two new more series, Queen City and Big Oil Houston

I’m so excited to be a part of the Monami family & ready for my projects Queen City & Big Oil Houston to come to fruition under @monascottyoung.” Tami commented on Instagram. “To have someone take you under their wing, teach you, guide you and believe in you is priceless! I prayed for helpful ppl & God sent me Mona, @realnickroses and @danikaberry I love you Mona! Let’s make magic!”

Roman currently stars in Saints and Sinners on the Bounce network. She will also appear with Regina Hall in the upcoming film comedy, Prison Logic.
