Rodrigo Varela / ESPN ImagesDwyane Wade celebrated his 39th birthday in Los Angeles with an in-person performance from reggae legend Beenie Man.

On Sunday, Beenie performed his infectious 1996 summer hit, “Who Am I? (Sim Simma),” while Wade and his wife, Gabrielle Union, danced.

“Earth day blessing to my brother @dwyanewade, more life, more blessings. Respect and love to @gaunion. Tonight was one for the books!” wrote Beenie on Instagram, sharing a video from his performance.

Union also took to Instagram to share a tribute video to her husband of seven years. The video features Union and Wade singing and dancing together, as well as twin birthday cakes decorated like the cover of the 2020 TIME magazine Time 100 issue that named the couple two of the most influential people in the world. The video also includes footage of Dwyane’s children  Zaire, Zaya and Xavier, as well as the couple’s two-year-old daughter, Kaavia James, who was born via surrogate.

On Instagram, retired NBA player Wade thanked his basketball “idol,” Michael Jordan, for hosting him and his friends at Jordan’s new private golf course, the Grove XXIII in Florida. Wade also thanked Union for gifting him a classic Mercedes Benz convertible as an early birthday gift last week.
