Beyonce Accused of Not Sharing Magazine Credits with Clothing Line

by

Credit: Robin Harper Beyonce is catching heat. First the singer chose not to appear at the U.K. launch of her Ivy Park sportswear line, and now the diva is being accused of not properly crediting a clothing company called KD for apparel she wore in  photo shoot for ELLE.

According to the New York Post‘s Page Six,  KD claims that Beyonce wore the company’s leggings in a photo and that the brand was at first credited in the online photo spread. But, the company alleges, someone from Beyoncé’s camp had the publication remove the online credit.  The story begins with the tag line “Beyoncé wears Ivy Park throughout.”

“We were fully credited when the story went up, and then I went back a couple of days later and it was removed,” owner David Lee told Page Six, revealing that KD lent the mag more than 60 pieces. “Someone [close to Beyoncé] called and said the credits were going to be removed without any explanation,” he claimed.

An rep for the magazine told Page Six that any modifications to the story online were made  “solely to benefit user experience and showcase the content.”

In related news, a new commercial for Ivy Park ends with Beyonce slipping while roller skating. “You wanted that shot? You got that shot,” she says with a smile in the spot.
