Beyoncé celebrates Kelly Rowland’s birthday with sweet throwback photos

In an Instagram post, the Grammy-award winning singer shared a series of throwback photos of Rowland. Some of those photos included pictures of the two eating together and simply goofing around in their early days.

“Happy Birthday Kelly!,” Bey wrote, captioning the photos. “I love you Deep Deep. BIG deep Me and you, us never part, Makidada. Walking through them middle school hallways like ‘Rollin Rollin Rollin.'”

Bey’s sing-songy caption, was a reference to the hand game made famous in Whoopi Goldberg‘s 1985 film The Color Purple.

Rowland also received lots of love from other celebs including La La Anthony and Bey’s mother, Tina Lawson, who also shared a series of posts celebrating the Destiny’s Child singer.

“Happy Birthday to one of the best gifts that God put in my life My Baby Kelly Rowland Whitherspoon [sic],” Lawson wrote. “One of the kindest most beautiful inside as well as out , super talented humble soul!!!! I love you.”
