Robin HarperBeyonce, Drake and Nicki Minaj are competing for Best R&B/Hip-Hop Artist at the Teen Choice 2016 Awards.
Drizzy, Queen Bey and Nicki each received two nominations in the first batch of nominations to be announced. Drake is also up for Choice Male Artist, and Beyonce is nominated for Choice Female Artist. Her competition includes Rihanna, Iggy Azalea and The Weeknd are also nominated in the R&B/Hip-Hop Artist category.
Minaj also received a nod for Choice Movie Actress: Comedy for her role in Barbershop: The Next Cut. The film is up for Choice Movie: Comedy, and Ice Cube is nominated for Choice Movie Actor: Comedy.
In television, Jussie Smollett is up for Choice Male Hottie, and Choice TV Actor: Drama for his role in Empire. The series is nominated for Choice TV Show: Drama.
