Bobby Brown Says Nick Gordon Is the Connection Between Whitney Houston and Bobbi Kristina’s Death

by

ABC/ Rick RowellBobby Brown says Nick Gordon is the connection between the death of his ex wife, Whitney Houston and his daughter, Bobbi Kristina in an interview with ABC’s Robin Roberts.

Brown tells Roberts, “It’s not a mystery to me. The same thing that happened to my daughter is what happened to Whitney…. There’s only one person that was around both occasions. Only one person who says they were there to protect them … and he didn’t.”

The singer is alluding to Whitney’s rumored adoptive son Nick Gordon who the Brown family believed manipulated Bobbi Kristina. In May, Brown joined the conservator of Bobbi Kristina’s estate in the $10 million wrongful death civil suit against Nick Gordon. Gordon strongly denies that he had anything to do with the death of Bobbi Kristina and in a statement to ABC News, Gordon’s attorneys claim that the lawsuit is “slanderous and meritless.”

No criminal charges have been filed against Gordon.

In the interview, Brown as recalls his last moments with his daughter.

“The last thing I told her, I just said, ‘Let go.’ I said, ‘It’s OK, you can go with your mom, daddy’ll be all right. I love you. You can rest now,’” Brown said. “Hardest thing I had to do in my life was tell my daughter to let go…. I don’t wish that on my worst enemy or any enemy. That is the worst pain in the world.”

Whitney Houston died on February 11, 2012, after being found face down in a water-filled bathtub.  Bobbi Kristina, passed away on July 26, 2015 after being found in a water-filled bathtub with a mix of drugs and alcohol in her system.
