Bobby Brown’s team rejects sister’s claims that he was hit by a car

by

ABC/Randy HolmesBobby Brown fans were sent into a frenzy over the weekend after the R&B crooner’s sister, Leolah Brown Muhammad, claimed he was hit by a car and severely injured.

Sunday, Muhammad shared an alarming post on Facebook alleging that Brown had both his legs broken after being struck by a speeding vehicle while walking. She even went on to claim that it was done intentionally and was furious that the media had failed to provide coverage of the incident.

“I HAPPEN TO TRULY LOVE MY BROTHER UNCONDITIONALLY!!! YOU ALL ARE NOT GOING TO KILL MY WHOLE FAMILY AND KEEP THINKING YOU CAN GET AWAY WITH IT!!!,” she shared angrily in the lengthy status update

Despite the frantic and concerning post, however, the singer’s attorney Christopher Brown has rejected such claims, calling the allegations “fake news.”

“The reports are false and Bobby Brown was in Los Angeles enjoying time with his family this weekend,” a statement released on Monday confirms. “Mr. Brown was not struck by a vehicle over the weekend and statements from Leolah Brown to the contrary are fake news.”

He added that RBRM is preparing to tour Japan and Australia come this fall, and Brown is looking forward to reconnecting with his fans in those countries.
