ABC/Randy HolmesIt’s not the end of the road for Boyz II Men singer Shawn Stockman.
The recording artist is releasinghis first solo album for SRG Records.
A label executive says he was eager to sign Stockman, adding, “He’s one of the smoothest singin’ cats I know, and I’m honored it’s all worked out. Now time to make a classic!”
According to the label, Shawn’s first solo album, set for release later this year, will “draw inspiration from his past as well as contemporary songs and performers across many genres.”
Boyz II Men’s most recent recording was a feature on pop star Charlie Puth‘s track, “If You Leave Me Now.”
The legendary R&B group released their twelfth studio album, Under the Streetlight, last year.
