Brooklyn man arrested for hoarding mask, coughs on FBI agents

by

A man was under investigation for hoarding N95 masks that many hospitals are in need of right now. He’s suspected of selling a New Jersey doctor about 1,000 of the N95 masks for $12,000, a markup of roughly 700 percent. He was making an extreme profit from overselling the mask, but he had over 80,000 masks in his home and has been trying to sell them because they are in high demand right now. He also had other materials such as hand sanitizers, Clorox wipes, chemical cleaning agents and surgical supplies. Once the FBI came to confiscate everything he coughed near some FBI agents and said that he has Coronavirus. Now he is facing charges of assault and making false statements to the feds.
