Days away from his Something in the Water festival, Pharrell has revealed some of the celebrity “phriends” who will be joining him for his set. Taking the stage with the multiple-hyphenate are Busta Rhymes, A$AP Rocky, De La Soul and M.I.A. Other stars will also make an appearance, but according to the updated flyer, they cannot be announced.
Something in the Water returns to Virginia Beach April 28 to April 30, with a livestream available on Pharrell’s YouTube channel. This event will feature performances from rappers including CHIKA,Clipse, Coi Leray, Doechii, Flo Milli, Kid Cudi, Latto, Lil Durk, Lil Wayne, Wale, Wu-Tang Clan,NLE Choppa and Lil Uzi Vert. Summer Walker, SWV, Jazmine Sullivan, Masego and Kehlani will bring the R&B vibes.
Fans will also have access to community events, food from local vendors and the free Pop-Up Church Service taking place April 30. Kirk Franklin, Karen Clarke Sheard & Bishop J Drew Sheard, Lecrae, Tye Tribbett and more are slated to perform.
