Jorda Frantzis2018 has been officially proclaimed the year of Cardi B.

The “I Like It” rapper was named one of Entertainment Weekly’s Entertainers of the Year and appears on one of four covers for the new December 7 issue.

In her cover story, Cardi says the most special moment of the year was when she gave birth to her first baby, daughter Kulture

“I felt so emotional,” she reveals. “I just couldn’t stop like thinking and crying like this is real. It was just crazy.”

The 26-year old rapper is also very proud of the success of her double platinum debut album, Invasion of Privacy.

“For my album to go number one, I was just something that I’m very happy, that I’m really proud of,” says Cardi. “You cannot tell me that I didn’t do a great album.”

Cardi won three American Music Awards in October, and says she’ll never forget performing on the show.

“My most satisfying feeling that I had was when I performed for the AMAs,” she says. “It was like my first big performance on television, and after giving birth, and I just felt like I wanted to see people’s reaction because , after my album, I didn’t really perform much of my music and I was just so nervous. So nervous and it came out so perfect.”

Now the rapper from New York City is making big plans for next year.

“I’m looking forward to do anything and everything that I could possibly take. The only thing that would stop me and is my enemy right now is time,” she says. “I did a vision board and I’m going to make sure I complete everything on it.”

Entertainment Weekly’s Entertainers of the Year issue hits newsstands Friday.
