Cardi B has been carrying out community service work as a result of her involvement in a 2018 strip club fight and it appears she’s having a great experience. Taking to Twitter Saturday, she said, “Community service has been the best thing that has happened to me.”

Her work, Cardi says, has been “[a]lmost like a spiritual journey because sometimes I leave these centers in tears.”

“Those people that we leave behind, they just need somebody to talk, and a lil push and YOU might be able to change their life forever,” she adds.

As reported, Cardi accepted a plea deal regarding the strip club brawl in which she was charged for ordering an attack on bartenders Baddie G and Jade, the latter of whom she allegedly believed was sleeping with her husband, Offset. She pleaded guilty to two misdemeanor charges for third-degree assault and reckless endangerment.

According to TMZ, Cardi B’s recent service includes work at a church and a high school; NYC organizations, including the Fortune Society and the Samaritan Village; and most recently, an appearance at a mentoring event called the Girls Talk Program. Her 15 days of community service are almost complete.
