Nicholas Hunt/Getty ImagesCardi B shrugged off the haters after igniting a Twitter storm on Sunday after expressing interest in buying an ultra-expensive purse.

“Should I spend 88K for this damn purse ? Omggg it’s tempting,” The rapper tweeted out over the weekend and immediately found herself in the crosshairs of Twitter’s collective ire.

Angry commenters slammed the “WAP” artist for flaunting her wealth during a pandemic and said she, instead, should be donating that $88,000 to charity.

Instead of apologizing, however, Cardi took out the receipts of her millions of dollars in donations made over the past year.

Posting a snippet of a headline that reads “Cardi B Donates $1 Million For Coronavirus Relief,” the 28-year-old added, “Also I donated a million dollars to fans thru cashapp 2 months ago.”

Another headline she posted referenced her donation of 20,000 meals to front line workers in New York.

“Also I got 7 uncles an 3 aunts on my daddy side,9 aunts and 3 uncles on my momma side a whole bunch of cousins I had to help cause of the pandemic,” Cardi fumed in a follow up tweet. “If I want to splurge I can with out yall asking for hand outs like me and my husband don’t do so. Thank you.”

In addition, she turned the firestorm into a charity event by challenging her naysayers to show her what they’ve done to help others during the pandemic.

“Any charity or foundation drop your receipts under the comment,” the Grammy winner instructed. “I will match what you donated and match your donation to that same charity or foundation.  Lets match energy.”

After supporting various organizations, Cardi let her critics know she was still unbothered by their collective shaming by cheekily affirming, “Definitely buying the bag now.”
