ABC/Randy HolmesChildish Gambino, aka Donald Glover, is British GQ‘s Best Dressed Man of 2018.
The magazine describes the actor/singer as a “new-wave renaissance man” – and says, “His style is superbly ‘wavey’ too, providing all the Seventies-inspired vibes a modern man needs in his wardrobe right now.”
The list of the 50 Best Dressed Men of 2018 also features Post Malone, John Legend, Lil Pump, Travis Scott, Offset of Migos and A$AP Rocky.
Here’s a look at what the mag said about some of these sharp-dressed men:
Post Malone: The mag says he’s “the only man on earth who can pull off face tattoos, braids, a Breton shirt at the same time.” A stylist tells the mag, “Fashion-wise, he’s a designer’s dream. Confident in bold colors and patterns, it’s all about minimum effort for maximum effect.”
John Legend: The mag praises him for his “impeccable” dress sense, with GQ‘s deputy editor raving, “It’s not so much how Legend does it as why: he clearly loves clothes and therefore respects those who share that love.”
Travis Scott: The Houston rapper is praised for his “penchant for oversized plaid shirts, cargo pants, diamond-studded grilles and even the occasional overall. It’s hard to deny he’s hip hop’s most influential streetwear force right now.”
Offset: The 26-year-old rapper was selected as the best-dressed member of Migos, because “he can wear suits and sports gear like no other.”
A$AP Rocky: The publication admires how he has made “the transition from maximalist to minimalist…. we’re really digging his take on pared-down dressing, such as the black Berluti suit and shirt with brilliantly bulbous Dior Homme sneakers he wore to Rihanna’s Diamond Ball in September.”
