Chloe x Halle recruits Doja Cat, City Girls, and Mulatto for the remix to Do It

by

Freeform/Aaron PooleChloe x Halle tapped some of hip-hop’s leading ladies for the remix to their #1 single, “Do It.

Doja Cat, City Girls and Mulatto joined the singing sister duo for a female-powered anthem that kicks off with a fiery verse from the “Say So” rapper.

Yung Miami and JT bring their City Girls sass but keep it cute and classy.

Fans were quick to share their thoughts on the new single, with some feeling the latter’s contribution was unnecessary. One fan tweeted, “We just gonna sit up here and act like the City Girl’s verse [wasn’t] horrible.”

Yung Miami tweeted in response, “My verse was for the kids & Tik Tok period,” adding, “Yall eating me up and I’m living for it. Maybe it gotta grow on y’all idk.”

Meanwhile, other fans were certainly checking for Mulatto’s verse, celebrating her the power of the “P.”

“Thirty-inch bundles with the bayang/ Latto got the block hot just like Lil Wayne/ Classy like Chloe and Halle, nasty like Megan [Thee Stallion],” raps the 2020 XXL Freshman.

Chloe tapped into a new verse, singing, “Drop that to the floor / Here’s to the pretty young thing with the big ol’ goals/ We don’t gotta act nice, we don’t gotta act right.”

“Do It” appears on Chloe x Halle’s second album, Ungodly Hour, which was released in June.
