Chris Brown has responded to rumor that he’s been banned from entering Australia due to his “violence against women” — namely, his 2009 assault on then-girlfriend Rihanna.
The singer denied via Instagram that his concert was cancelled, and also posted a screenshot from a TMZ article about same. “THIS STORY IS FALSE AND ILL BE IN AUSTRALIA IN DECEMBER,” Chris wrote. “To all the fans, don’t listen or be discouraged to buy tickets. My presales tickets sold out in the first 2 minutes.”
Last week, Brown announced he’s heading to Australia with August Alsina for an overseas tour that will run from December 8 through 18, which will make stops in Perth, Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne.
