Eliot Lee Hazel/RCA RecordsEvery now and then, Chris Brown lets us into his thought process on social media and in his latest Instagram post, the singer reveals his longing to become a “great man.”
The singer posted an image of himself looking dejected while standing on a basketball court, along with a lengthy caption about growth.
“Every step I take will only be to greatness. Learning myself everyday and striving to make a difference. Thriving not surviving,” Brown wrote in the post. “I can’t make anyone love me or like me but for the people who do, you are highly appreciated and valued.”
He adds, “I wanna grow into a great man and take care of my family. In order for me to change the world I have to change my mentality.”
The post comes a month after news broke that he allegedly fathered a daughter with another woman while dating his now ex-girlfriend, Karrueche Tran.
