The 27-year-old singer was released at 11:19 p.m. PT on $250,000 bail, according to jail records.  His next scheduled court date is September 20.

Brown’s attorney, Mark Geragos, also confirmed Brown’s release, tweeting, “Thanks to everyone for their support and well wishes. Chris is out and well. The allegations against him are demonstrably false #TeamBreezy.”

Brown was arrested Tuesday night some 14 hours after police first came to his home, responding to a 911 call from Baylee Curran, a woman who claimed Brown had threatened her with a gun.  Police obtained a search warrant and arrested Brown after entering and searching his L.A. residence.

Curran told ABC News that Brown became angry and pointed a gun at her as she was admiring a diamond necklace another man was displaying.  She claims she ran from Brown’s house and that neighbors called police when they saw her, and she did as well.

The NYPD confirms Curran is wanted in New York on an outstanding grand larceny warrant for allegedly stealing a person’s handbag and wallet in 2013, during an unspecified dispute.

Police haven’t confirmed any details surrounding the alleged incident at Brown’s home.  They described Brown as being “cooperative” but did not confirm if they recovered any weapons from his home.

Brown denied any wrongdoing in a series of social media posts, and invited police to obtain the warrant.  The posts have since been deleted.
