Image Courtesy Motown/UniversalCongratulations are in order for Chrisette Michele and music producer Doug Ellison. On Wednesday, the couple announced that they have gotten engaged.
Ellison revealed the news by posting an Instagram picture of the engagement ring on Michele’s finger. “She said #Yes @chrisettemichele my everything! #Godcan,” Ellison confirmed in the caption.
An elated Chrisette posted a Instagram picture of herself showing off her ring, along with a caption that reads: “The Queen of Four Kings | My heart has been officially stolen | Soon to be Mrs. @biggs4k.”
The photo also included a lengthy message from the singer. “I’m so happy to share that I have received what I’ve been praying for. I’m over the moon,” she wrote.
Michelle also hinted that her happiness will be reflected in her upcoming music. “I may take a moment to live in the moment. When I return to you, I’ll be bringing the greatest art you ever felt from me,” she said. “This moment shows that true love lasts thru the ups and downs of life.”
