John Lamparski/Getty ImagesChrisette Michelle will kick off her 2016 concert tour one week before her new album, Milestone, will be released on June 10.
The Grammy Award winner’s fifth album features Mali Music and Rick Ross, and is now available for pre-order. Celebrating her tenth year as a recording artist, Michelle says this album is special because her fiancée, Doug “Biggs” Ellison, served as the executive producer.
“This music is a testament to all things being possible and finally, a true tale of love,” she says in a statement. “I’ve pushed thru the music industry and began my own record label. I’ve gotten engaged after so much heartbreak. The album is upbeat, honest, triumphant and fun. I’m calling the shots and it feels so good!”
Michelle’s Milestone tour begins June 3, 2016 in Sayreville, New Jersey and continues for 33 shows through August 26 in San Diego, California.
