iStock/anouchkaLong time Trump critic Chrissy Teigen is calling for a boycott of Equinox and Soul Cycle, following news that one of the investors is hosting an election fundraiser for President Trump.

“A lot of my very cool, socially aware, progressive, awesome, amazing friends are members of Equinox or SoulCycle, and I just want to let you know that their owner is hosting a giant Trump fundraiser. Cancel your memberships today,” the Lip Synch Battle commentator says in an Instagram video.

The supermodel offered an alternative — working out at her house — but didn’t include her address.

The man to whom Chrissy is referring, Stephen Ross, is hosting the event at his Southampton, New York home Friday with tickets priced at $100,000 for a photo opportunity and lunch, and $250,000 for a package including a roundtable discussion, according to the Washington Post.

Equinox owns SoulCycle and responded to the controversy with an Instagram message saying that Ross is a “passive investor and is not involved in the management of either business.”

The statement added, “Equinox and SoulCycle have nothing to do with the event. As is consistent with our policies, no company profits are used to fund politicians.”
