Epic RecordsCiara “I Bet,” has reached a new milestone.
The single apparently has been certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America for selling more than 500,000 downloads in the U.S.
Although the certification doesn’t yet appear in the RIAA’s database of gold and platinum certified records — which is only updated monthly, the singer announced the news via Instagram, posting a message about it alongside a photo of her official artwork for the song. “#IBet #CertifiedGold By The RIAA! Yay! Thank You Everyone! #Jackie,” Ci Ci wrote along with smiley face emojis. The song was released on January 26.
“I Bet” appears on Ciara’s latest album, Jackie, available now.
