Ciara made a big announcement during her appearance Tuesday on ABC’s The View.
Toward the end of the interview, Barbara Walters asked the singer about the ongoing rumors that she and her fiancé, rapper Future, are expecting their first child together. “There are rumors about pregnancy. Do you want to confirm?” Walters asked.
Ciara replied, “Of course, I would love to so.” She then stood up and revealed her baby bump.
After dating for a year, Ciara and Future got engaged last October during Ciara’s 28th birthday party. Their bundle of joy will mark Future’s fourth child. He has three kids with three different women: an 11-year-old boy, a four-year-old girl, and a one-year-old boy.
In other news, Ciara is scheduled to perform at the official Grammy Awards after-party on January 26.
