DisneyRodgers & Hammerstein’s 1997 film, Cinderella, starring Brandy and her late idol Whitney Houston, is officially coming to Disney+ this month.

Viewers at home will now be able to enjoy the live-action musical, which also starred Whoopi Goldbergas well as Natalie Desselle Reid, who passed away last year, as her stepsister, Minerva.

Brandy and Whoopi reunited during an appearance on The View Thursday, where the two sang the song “Impossible,” from the film.

“It’s pretty remarkable that people have been begging for Cinderella to be re-released for almost 24 years. What do you think? Is it possible?” said Whoopi, before Brandy added, “It’s definitely possible.”

Expressing her “appreciat[ion] for fans,” Brandy added that she’s “excited…Cinderella has a home now at Disney+ and we can celebrate, share and inspire a whole new generation.”

Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella quickly became a fan favorite, inspiring millions of Black princesses across the world to wear braids, just like Brandy does in the movie. Her cruel stepmother attempts to prevent her from attending the Royal Ball until her beautiful and whimsical Fairy Godmother, played by Houston, appears.

Houston also served as executive producer of the film, which earned seven Emmy nominations. The film was celebrated for its diverse representation and for unforgettable songs like, “Impossible,” “In My Own Little Corner,” “Ten Minutes Ago,” and “A Lovely Night.”

Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella comes to Disney+ Feb. 12th.  Disney is the parent company of ABC News.
