The family show Come Dance with Me will see some of the most talented young dancers from across the country strut their best dance moves with “one inspirational, and untrained, family member or another adult who has supported their dance dreams.”

Each week, aspiring dancers will compete for a grand prize as they share with their loved ones a challenging journey about the love of dance, while learning and performing various dance routines.

Similar to ABC’s Dancing with the Stars, professional choreographers will assist each team.

“We believe this concept is fun for the whole family, especially given the number of children we both have,” LL Cool J and O’Donnell said in a statement. “We reminisced about our kids’ dance lessons and how it would look if they had to teach us how to dance. What we noticed was, aside from the two-left-feet element, like most parents, no one wants to let their kids down.

“The show is about being creative, having a good time, and bringing families together through dance. It’s a fun show with a big heart!” the statement continued.

LL Cool J, who is also the host of Lip Sync Battle, will executive produce the series alongside O’Donnell.
