DALLAS ISD DECIDES VIRTUAL CLASSES FOR THE FIRST MONTH OF SCHOOL

Dallas superintendent Michael Hinojosa has announced his decision to only offer virtual school only during the first month of school. Kids returning back to in person learning could result in a high number of covid-19 cases. Though Dallas has finally agreed to monitor the number of cases in public schools in Texas, as well as release data about the number of employees at licensed childcare facilities. Many changes will soon unfold as the school year begins. Dallas County Judge Clay Jenkins praises Michael Hinojosa for his “courage and leadership” in making the decision to delay in- person instruction.
