In the video, Hollister brings in actress Lisa Raye as his leading lady and co-star.
“LisaRaye is a hometown girl man, always been a beautiful spirit and she’s so graceful and pleasant to work with,” he tells This Is RNB. “Lisa Raye brought a warmth and a light to this video that only she could, and it was easy working with my homie versus a stranger, so…easy day for me!”
“Definition of a Woman” is the lead track from Hollister’s upcoming album, The MANuscript, which will be released August 26th. The album will also feature production from Walter Millsap and a guest appearance from Angie Stone.
Hollister explains that the inspiration for the track was all about love. “Love feels so good. Those of us men who have been fortunate enough to experience true love wrapped in romance can attest to the fact that there’s nothing else like it. It’s a very specific feeling to have the love of a woman,” he says.
