Death of Dallas Pastor & Family Ruled Murder-Suicide

The mourning continues for a Seagoville church community overa 2 months after the deaths their pastor and first lady in a Cedar Hill house fire.   Officials have now ruled the February 28th deaths of  Pastor Eugene Keahey and his wife Deanna, and there two daughters a murder-suicide.

Pastor Keahey’s death was ruled a suicide, according to the Dallas County Medical Examiner’s office, who died from a gunshot wound to the head.  Wife, Deanna and 15-year old Camryn Keahey died from thermal burns and smoke inhalation.  17-year Darryn Keahey died from complications from thermal burns and smoke inhalation in the hospital a day after the fire.

Their deaths were ruled homicides.

Keahey pastored Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Seagoville, and formerly served as youth pastor at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church in Dallas, and was rumored to have been having financial problem.
